This is a place holder; we intend to share more examples of our work here soon. For the moment you can see a few images from the rivers project which we have been working on closely with our strategic partners hoopers architects, who are based in Ipswich, UK. The rivers project design recently received RIBA Stage Four approval and is now moving forward under the lead of a general contractor.

PSYCH.RAUM is proud to have been intimately involved in the design and development of the project together with our partners at hoopers and the NSFT (Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust) from early in Phase 0, in particular through our work on the development of the conceptual and schematic design.

The images above illustrate the ideas which led to the typological variation (=biomes) we designed to offer staff and service users both familiarity and difference in a new-build Mental Health project in Norwich, UK for the NSFT. More information on the rivers project will follow on this page…

Details - not Detalis – exemplifying the importance of small gestures in atmospheric design.

We might also include a link here to the Soteria Berlin project, which, though it is not a PSYCH.RAUM project – it is an architectural project done by Jason Danziger of thinkbuild architecture BDA in Berlin – does nevertheless exemplify many of the methods we believe in - particularly the importance of details – practice what you preach.
